9th Global HR Summit 2012 - "Building Bridges between the Current Industrial Scenario and HR Challenges"

I participated in  the 9th Global HR Summit 2012 organized by Amity International Business School, Amity University with a theme : "Building Bridges between the Current Industrial Scenario and HR Challenges" on 28th September, 2012.

It  has lately been observed that there is a spur of MBA population in the Industry and managing their expectations has become a big challenge for the Organizations specially when most of the Companies have dawdled down lateral hiring and are picking people directly from Campus to be cost effective.

Hence it becomes imperative that we have more collaboration between the Industry and  Campus and Corporate Leadership should more often address Campuses to ease the transition and set the expectations.  

I am trying to do my bit by ensuring that I remain in touch with the education Industry.  It was indeed a pleasure to meet and interact with students and faculty of Amity and be a partner in their quest of learning.
